AYR PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY - CENTENNIAL EXHIBITION

A special exhibition is to be on show in the Carnegie Library to mark both the Centenary of Ayr Photographic Society and the Ayr 800 celebrations.

Members of the Photographic Society, in conjunction with Ayr 800 groups, have sourced a selection of vintage photographs of Ayr, most of which have never before been on public display. Newly restored and presented, the photos range from Victorian times to mid-20th century and feature both the town and the people, clearly showing the changes that have taken place over the years.

The exhibition will be on show during the month of September in the Carnegie Library during library opening times.
