Royal Aeronautical Society – Prestwick Branch

The branch have a number of initiatives planned, as 2005 also marks the anniversary of a number of events in the history of the aviation industry in Ayrshire, including the 50th anniversary of the first flight of the Twin Pioneer from the Scottish Aviation Base at Prestwick on 25 June 1955.
